Berlin gig review

What can i say except PARTY! Adam was clearly loving the audience – loud & wild. Long setlist with Let’s Dance and Mad World. Haven’t been this sweaty since the UK shows. Damn.

We got two teen girls in the front with no shirts on, a huge glittery plastic poison mushroom that Adam had on stage “for good luck”, GNT style moves and antics, killer notes and a full house of dancing and singing happy ppl.

Defenetly one of the best gigs i have seen. So good. All ages and genders singing and dancing their butts off. Amazing atmosphere.

“There is one thing in common with all of you here” – “Me” HAHHAHA!!

Wish i could bottle up his unbelievable energy and vocals, the smiling faces all around me and ppl coming together. Youngest ones i saw where maybe 10 and the eldest 70+. All there for the love of great live music.

This one was a gem.

Oslo,Copenhagen and Hamburg gig reviews

Oslo was again incredible. No idea how he does it honestly. It’s like every gig he does has more and more energy and higher notes. Tonight i was on the right hand side of the stage front row. Great view. Loads of eye contact and Adam was on fire. He was so playfull, funny and just plain crazy. “Show me ur tits!!” 

The audience was loving every second of it. Great energy. 

Should have written this straight after the gig, but i was tired. Can’t remember every detail since the gigs are starting to melt to one, but i do remember that the was so happy and had amazing energy. 

He also made this fandom loose their minds as he opened his shirt. “No one wants to see my tits” sure they don’t..

One of the highlights for me was when Adam gave his speech about music and equality he said something like “How do we know….bla bla something.” (I need a brain stransplant to remember stuff) and i shouted “U have to ask the right question” He heard me and said “She has been here before. I am so scripted” Hahahaha! Then he looked at me and asked “What is the question” WHAT DO U WANT FROM ME?! 🎉

So in this gig we got a very energy bunny mode Adam, talked to me for a bit and his bare chest. I am suprised that his chest outing didn’t break twitter. 

Copenhagen, I had a normal general admission ticket. A lovely, kind and wonderful person gave me her m&g ticket. I was in shock. I was going to meet Adam again. This time i had no makeup on and just normal jeans. Whatever. The fact that someone have me their expensive ticket just like that for no reason made me cry happy tears. Thank you. With this ticket i got mid center front row view and the pic above that made me a very happy fan.

A woman gave Adam a pair of earrings as a gift. Very pretty silver ones with diamonds. Aparently they were too small and he had to oil up his ear holes and shoved them in. Hahahah! Luckily i got the speech on vid. Need to download my vids when i get home. Then he asked where is his bike. Ha! 

Yet again we saw a happy man who indeed loves to be on stage with every fiber in his body. He shines when he is on stage. Also Europe agrees with him. He seems to be so relaxed while here. Maybe it’s just me as a european, but i think so. He also asked who is gay in the audience and who is european or both. Heh.

After the gig i realised that i had no hotel since i had forgot to book a room. Sigh… Anyway a very sweet lady whom i met that day offered her room to me. Tonight was for me more than just a great gig with a very funny and taleneted guy on stage, but it made my heart cry happy tears. Honestly. Two ppl helped me out more than they can ever know. I got the m&g that i had always hoped for (the one i paid was such a shock for me that i don’t remember it and also not a good pic) and also i got a bed so i didn’t need to sleep in a chair in some bus stop. 

What i really love about traveling is meeting ppl who are genuine, kind and selfless. Adam is right – music does unite ppl and brings out the best of us. All u need is love.

Hamburg. “Ich liebe dick” that pretty much sums up the gig. Hahahah! Adam was flirty, incredible high notes and funny in both German and in English. I had the same spot as in Oslo – opposite Terrance. Once again Adam flashed us his chest and yet again i was at the wrong side. Clearly i am not suppose to see his chest.

My pic from Hamburg. Love his smile. He is just so beautiful and such a supportive friend. It’s clear to see how much he cares for Terrance. Everyone on that stage has great chemistry and it shows. Best band he has had in my opinion.

Stockholm gig review

Happy and overwhelmed would be the right words to describe my feelings. I had just met Adam for the first time and now he was there singing infront of me. How is this real? I have no idea.

This gig was very relaxed and non scripted. Adam desided to stand on the speakers. The front row had maybe 6 huge speakers. He came and stood on a few of them. Once right infront of me. Closest i have been to him at a gig. WHOAH. If he would have bent forward we could have touched him. So close and so pretty. Loved it.

There was a technical difficulty situation when he had his speech so his musical director came to Adam’s aid.

My brain has melted, but i can say i sang, danced, smiled like crazy and had a blast.

Seven years waiting. I just met Adam 15 min ago. Crazy. Fast. Amazing. Happy me.

There were 15 of us in the queue waiting to meet him. Some like me for the first time and some regular m&g goers.

Molly the handler took us to a corridor and we left our bags there. She told us to tell him our names and say hi.

When it was my turn i almost ran towards him with my arms open 😅 and i said “Moi”, but forgot to tell him my name. He said “Moi” and let me hug him. Not sure did he hug me back. Brain melted. Then Molly took our pic and i looked in his eyes and said i’ve been waiting for this for seven years. He looked at me and said “Aaaww” Then i gave him a quick squeeze and left.

I’m 165cm + 5cm heels. I was up to his shoulder if that. He was wearing a polkadot b&w jacket. No idea what other clothes he had on.

Green eyeliner 🙂

Lasted maybe 10 seconds, but it made me very happy.

Helsinki gig review

Me and some of my Finnbert friends bought The Original High VIP ticket for this gig. The ticket included food, stuff and the two first rows.

We got salmon, ham in sauce and different kinds of salads for the main course.

For dessert we got American style cheesecake and strawberry jam. The food was really good, but i was so nervous i only had a tiny bit of salmon.

The stuff we got was the CD (never understood that,but whatever) and a huge poster.

We were put in a single line and walked up to the stage almost army style. Love it. No pushing etc. I ended on the second row on Adam’s left side. Behind me were 4 teens who had been camping outside the venue for three days!

The dj was really good. So far my favorite warm up – person/band.

Adam was really happy and non scripted for the most part. Jumping up and down, smiling and making weird faces.

For the most part he was at the left hand side of the stage were us crazy fans were. Not sure had it something to do with what happened in Estonia with the “vip repeat offenders who only take vids” or what since some of them were at this gig too and the m&g ppl were on the right side. Intresting. Later i asked my mom (her first Adam gig) where did he spend the most time in her opinion and she said the left so it’s not just me.

The audience was waving heart shaped signes, clapping and singing.

At some point when Adam went to change his outfit his hair was a mess. Everyone laughed at his silly hair so he stole Terrance’s hat 😅

No pic of the setlist, but we got the longer version as suspected. Also we got a sing a long that he had only done in Manchester. Plus we got the highest highnotes in EU. Very nice.

During Trespassing Adam once again came infront of us and he pointed at me. 100% sure it was me he pointed at. At least that’s how my brain reacted since i had a meltdown.

Can’t remember what song it was, but he was yet again on the left hand side and he looked down to see if he could jump off the stage. He opted not to do it. Damn. Heh.

Audience favorites were GT, IIHY, Fever, ALN, FYE and WWFM. Wild party! My pants almost fell down again from the dancing.

Saw couple of celebs there too. Designers and tv ppl. Straight and LGBT.

The audience at least the standing ones were mainly teens to mid 30’s. All kinds of ppl. From glitter lipstic goth teens to “mother type ppl”.

All in all a wonderful energetic night out with my friends and my second family watching The Light on stage.

Bonus was that a couple hours after the gig Adam tweeted how much he loved the gig. First EU gig he tweeted about. That was really nice.

Estonia gig review

Started out with a mess. Ppl not respecting the queue system. Pushing and no security in sight.

Finally when we got in somehow without no one dying we (general admission) managed to get in before the VIP ppl. What a weird system. Not complaining tho since that ment that i finally got my front row for the first time in 7 years at Adam’s solo gig. That made me very,very happy.

Inside the venue the security was extremely strickt. They told us that if they see a camera they will take it away and they have the right to throw you out! Phones were ok aparently.

The venue was the smallest i have ever seen. Stage was so tiny that there was no room for the background lights or the screens. I’m guessing there was maybe 1000 ppl. Audience was mainly young, ppl in their 20′-30’s. Intimate club like venue with a bar.

The audience was really good singing along. Well almost everyone. HA! Adam said to some guy on the balcony that he looks bored 😅 Adam was funny and happy. Smiling and singing so beautifully.

I didn’t take any vids or pics, but simply enjoyed the beauty that was infront of me. I have seen thousands of pics and seen him live many times now,but no picture can compare on what he looks like close up. Pure perfection.

When Adam changed his outfit ppl gasped outloud. Model. Leather pants and a jacket that looked like it was made for him. Wow.

Smile. Freckles. The most gorgeous eyes in the entire world. Highnotes. Leather pants.

The highlight of the gig was without a doubt the shade. Adam is such a pro of the subtle and not so subtle shade.

He basically told a few “repeat offenders” off who were in the front row with their phones filming the gig.

“U ladies have seen 100 gigs and u film them all. Do u even watch them? U are taking the front row away from the lockal fans”

Then he rapped “Put ur phones away and hands up in the air”

Guess it depends who you are that would you find what he said funny or embarrasing. I myself laughed my butt off. I didn’t laugh to make fun of anyone, but the fact that he had the balls to say so and then he rapped. Respect.

The setlist was shorter than so far, but it didn’t matter.

Great vocals again, front row, so much fun, shadeeeee, new outfit, close and did i mention how incredible he looked like.

Manchester gig review

How can he top London’s gig i’m thinking while in the queue. Well…by having THE best audience ever.

London was brilliant. He was on fire and smiling for the entire gig. Magical. Manchester tho started slower, but then BAM! Audience was loud and Adam loved it.

We got to see a very funny Adam who gave us a party gig with superb vocals. The speech lasted longer than usual with some tequila drinking, terrible yet highly entertaining uk accents and cruising the audience for the pretty boys. 😅

With his silly accents and non scripted talking he made us laugh and cheer. I myself laughed so much. Adam’s humor and naughtiness is one of the reasons i love him as an entertainer. He is so witty and sassy and funny as hell.

Audience screams *Adam runs back to the stage*  “Oh u blew me all the way back here. I like when u blow me”

Mad World was standing O worthy so we showered Adam with a roar that wouldn’t stop. From all the gigs i have seen (not only Adam or QAL, but all gigs) this crowd was the loudest and most enthusiastic one i have been a part off. Everyone was singing loud all the songs so we got so far the only sing-a-long he has done with this tour. It was so much fun! Also Let’s Dance and Fever got the audience screaming.

His speech lasted so long that he got a note from his musical director in his earpeace that there is a timelimit for the gig. That didn’t stop him! So good.

During the Trespassing &  Another One Bites The Dust medley his bassplayer started playing the all famous Bites rythm since they were running out of time. Adam just stared him with a Goofy face and said “What are we doing?” Hahaha.

London was definetly a very important gig for Adam since he had ppl in high places in the audience and he put up on a vocal masterpiece of a show. Manchester had a different vibe. He was relaxed, funny and interacted with the audience alot. Both memorable incredible gigs, but with a different feeling to them.

Sadly after queing for yet another half a day i ended up on a not so good spot. So no pics or vids. Also lost my nerves with one woman, but that’s another story.

London Apollo recap

12h standing. Rain. Legs are jelly. So worth it. 8am now and i’m trying to figure out a way to explain what i witnessed last night. Last nights London gig was without a doubt THE best party gig and solo show i have EVER seen. If i had to describe this show in one word it would be “Energy” or “Epic”.

Adam was pure fire. From the start to the very last second he was so happy, insane killer vocals, dance moves on point. Absolutely breathtakingly incredible.

Amsterdam was defenetly good, but this gig was on another level. It was beyond words. Fire, sex, giggles, silly faces, lots of tongue, so hiiiiiiiigh, dance. Adam put his heart in to this gig and the audience responded. Definetly a good example of “I scratch ur back & u scratch mine” Energy flowing from the stage to the mosh pit and back.

Smiling like a crazy person on row three (until 5 ppl passed out and i got to go on row two) i danced my ass out so much that i honestly had to keep my pants on with my left hand!

Adam was so happy thruout the show. He was radiating. No wonder he was since he had three pretty cool dudes in the audience. “I have some friends in the balcony. Brian May, Roger Taylor and Boy George. These are my friends” *giggles* and smiles. Pure joy.

Wish i could put it in words the atmosphere, the sweat, the thousands of ppl singing every single word full blast (except whit the slow songs when ppl just wanted to hear his heartfilled beautiful interpitations) and dancing.

I always take pics at gigs, but not last night. I tried to take a few, but they didn’t work out since hands were flying everywhere. No matter. So 2/3 of the gig i danced, sweated so much that my shirt looked like i had been swimming, fist pumped, held on to my pants and smiled so much that anymore and i would have ripped my face off.
The audience was one of the best if not the best i have seen. Everyone had a blast. Well…not the three poor women who passed out BEFORE Adam even got on stage!

This was THE place to be on april 14th 2016.

Oh and while i was standing for half a day i got to look at the ppl who were in the queue with me. Some ppl looked like they were going to see a heavy metal band, some a drag queen show, women and men all ages. And i mean ALL ages. There were kids and even ppl that had one foot in the grave. Above all i noticed loads of middle aged men with Queen shirts on that came to see Adam’s solo gig. They were alone, with their wives and some in groups. That made me happy. Adam clearly made an impression with them from the QAL gigs they have seen. Music does bring us all together. There is no black and no white. No straight and no gay. Music and joy unites us.

I am honored to be a fan of this unique and amazing artist who captured our hearts in Idol and now he has rock royalty in HIS audience. Can’t complain about that 👌

Amsterdam gig

I just witnessed Adam’s first TOH EU gig. I was mid center between the second and third row.

Queing was fine. Met lots of new nice ppl. Some rain,but not bad.

When they opened the doors and let the photo op ppl go first, some early entry (i was EE also) skipped the queue and pushed trhu. Once we got in it was ok tho. Very prifessionally done. We were put in a single queue and i was #4 in the early entry line. Once the actual arena doors were opened it became a race. Got a pretty good view tho.

The two dj’s played JB and ppl booed 😅😅😅😅😅

Then Adam came – and so did the crowd. LOL!

His voice is incredible. His eyes are truly diamonds. Sweat.

I sang my heart out for 1,5h. Fist pumped. Took pics that i will later post to my Smugmug account and i also got vids. New thing for me.

The girl who was infront of me was literally a statue. No singing, no screaming. Was she alive? Dunno. There is always one.

Adam and Terrance had a cute moment when he introduced T. So sweet. U can really see the love they have for each other 😊

Not sure who was sweating more me or him! Good lord!!!

No pervyness or smoking weed.

Oh and did i mention how frikking bad ass his band is?!? 👏👏👏👏
